Elie is currently a community engagement manager for Games at The New York Times.

As assistant community manager, she wrote and managed the daily column Wordle Review.

Previously, she worked as a social media editor for Verywell Health, a trusted source of health information under the umbrella of America’s biggest publisher, Dotdash Meredith. She was also associate manager of audience development at the online publishing platform Medium, where she ran social accounts, wrote both public and internal posts about social media, and advised teams across the company on social strategy.
